Review: Great bars for the price. - I don't see how you could beat Dunlop bars for the money. There are probably better bars out there, but at a lot more cost. The small bar (4.5 ounces) is good for six string lap steel, but would not be quite big enough for 8 string unless you have unusually close string spacing. The small size of the bar takes a bit of getting used to but once you do, it is very agile and light so fast moves and slants are easier in my opinion. This is the size bar that Jerry Byrd recommended so that says something for it. It did not take much time to get used to the 919, with it's smaller size and weight. Muting is much easier and moving around the neck is faster and cleaner. Much better control than my older bullet for sure.
