I really liked this from the beginning, though I saw some reviews were not fully positive. The unit worked very well for 8 months, never lost connection, but now the remote reading is 10 to 15 degrees F too low, even when placed directly next to the inside unit. UPDATE June 6, 2025: I corresponded online with LaCrosse, and their customer service was highly impressive. They were thorough and responsive in troubleshooting the issue with the remote sensor, and within the day they were sending out a replacement sensor. In a matter of just a couple of days, I received the replacement sensor and it's working fine.
