Boy am I glad I didn't cancel. This book has revolutionized the way I trade. I've been trading on and off for about 10 years, this year I decided to take it seriously, took several courses read more books and proceeded to continue losing.I noticed in my trading that I had an idea of entry and exits but not with a high degree of confidence. I tended to be right on direction but wrong on timing both entry and exit. Well after this book my confidence is higher than it's ever been. I have just started trading using Tom's techniques and my problem now is that I need to trust my analysis. So far I have been kicking myself for not trusting my new method and as I said my confidence is increasing. I can honestly say for the first time that I believe a breakthrough is imminent.Tom's style is the epitome of clarity and simplicity. He puts more actual meat (no fluff) in one chapter than you'll find in most books. These are discussed in other books of course, but Tom brings them together in a nice package and explains it well.If you combine his book study with a solid study of the stocks he discusses on his show, you are well on your way to understanding his system. He usually has several downloadable broadcasts a day, so there are plenty of opportunities to study the stocks that Tom analyzes. I have also attended the Master Trader Series course he offers, but the course was little more than a live rehash of his book.Lastly, this is a judgmental system, so you have to decide to make the trade. He has an excellent section on risk/reward that provides the tools to give the confidence in that trade execution. If your trading results suffer, check it out. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Technical trading *by R***S on Reviewed in the United States on November 19, 2009* I found the book a basic view of technical trading with Tom's special approach. Since I am not an experienced technical trader, it was very helpful to me. I will have to read a number of times an digest the infomation to fully use it. My basic problem is in translating book knowledge to the real charts.
