Flexoid brand gasket paper has excellent oil, fuel and water resistance, and is ideal for general purpose custom gasket making, whether for bespoke projects or to create discontinued parts. A trusted brand used extensively by leading British, European and US automotive manufacturers.   Examples of gaskets that can be created from the material are:  Carburettor; Fuel Pump; Front Plate; Oil Pump; Oil Filter; Side Cover; Timing Cover; Thermostat; Water Pump // Gearbox Input Shaft; Exit Housing; Top Cover; Gearbox to Clutch // Rear Axle Cover; Axle Shaft.   This genuine Flexoid gasket paper may feel slightly damp or oily to the touch. This is a normal characteristic due to the plasticisers used in its manufacturing and does not affect its performance or sealing capabilities. The material has a distinct odour, which is also a normal characteristic and will fade over time.
