It was as pictured, no knotting between the beads and a red tassle. Compared to my other rudraksha mala its beads are larger, however, the string that holds them together is extremely thin and white and has plenty of space to move the beads. The tassle is red and really short. Does say " Made in Nepal". My biggest worry is the string wont last but a few repetitions before needing to be re-strung. Time will tell. Not quite the quality I expected.
