Nothing holds like stretch-tite. I never use saran wrap or glad wrap. I love my dispenser. No more cut fingers. The roll comes out of the box with the sharp cutter, which I dispose of carefully. Place in dispenser and you are done. Never have to touch the cutter and you can wrap your item right from the dispenser. **Q: What material is this dispenser made of?** A: It's very sturdy plastic I believe. I love this thing ! Wish I had found it on Amazon sooner. This makes using plastic wrap so easy. Just plunk the box down into this dispenser and pull it through the opening and you're good to go. It's sturdy and doesn't move around all over the place.I have it on my counter and whenever I need to put plastic wrap on top of a bowl, plate, etc. all you do is pull the wrap out over the bowl, etc and then press the top of the dispenser and it cuts it off perfectly.
