I was expecting it to have a bit more volume, but it fits the necessities for me. The water bottle holder on the exterior is definitely too small for a lot of today’s popular tumbler styles. It would fit a standard 16.9oz plastic bottle, but not much else. The main compartment holds my laptop, cord, mouse, clipboard with letter size pad, large pencil case, medium paper tablet, and a medium zipper pouch. I think a legal size tablet could fit as well. I appreciate how the middle compartment is padded. My tablet fits with plenty of room and it can also accommodate a bulky tablet case. The smallest compartment is very tight- it holds no more than paper receipts and a flat pack of gum. I like how it stands up on its own and is quite balanced when loaded with my stuff. It doesn’t flop over immediately. It is a nice, basic, compact style that I’d be happy to take anywhere.
