I use these to do a quick touch up on my hair-do. I don’t use clips to hold them in-that leaves marks on my hair. I slightly dampen my hair ends, curl it under with my hot air brush, then quickly roll it on these curlers. They do a fair job of staying in if I don’t put too much hair on the rollers. They stay fairly well while I finish dressing-but I’m carful not to bounce them too much. These have a lot of "grip", so much so that you have to be really slow and careful to take these out of your hair to avoid damaging your hair. My old ones are much easier to take out so I hope these relax their grip over time.
