There is a lot of slop where the saddle attaches to the harp legs and the sliding locks don’t lock to resolve it. This means the lamp shade is crooked. Will probably return the item as this is poor. The quality of the parts are fine, they just don’t seat properly.Update: I raised my rating for the excellent customer service. The Seller reached out and offered to send a replacement. I have since resolved the problem on my own, using a short piece of electrical tape to wrap around each of the harp legs and then another short piece to wrap around where the harp and saddle mate. The sliding locks are now tight. I've had it over 20 years and its sleek lines still look good BUT I could not find a shade to fit. The lamp has an unusually sized uno fitter. You can find shades with uno fitters but not one to fit this lamp. Wish I had thought to look for an uno fitter adapter. I was able to adapt the fixture part of lamp base to use spider style lamp shades with these. They perfectly adapted a 10” high lamp shade.Note if you’re doing the same, these were E27 (40mm) the E26 would not fit my base - too small.Additionally you will probably need a shorter harp than on other lamp base styles to allow the lamp to cover the base of the fixture.
