The amount that came seemed very small at first, but it worked just fine and made getting the sample very easy. The cat is fussy but didn't even seem to notice that his litter changed and went right in. It is reusable but I couldn't think of any pleasant way to clean all those little plastic urine covered beads. She does not object to using this product. Adding more collection vials to the order would be helpful. My alternative is to use clean, very small plastic containers. Cleaning the product after use is very simple. I have a strainer (dedicated to this task). I simply empty the used "crystals" and excess urine into the strainer and clean/rinse and allow to dry for the next time they're needed.
