At one point I moved it to the socket next to the router with my phone all less than 6 inches from each other. Still would not connect. Router is 2.4ghz, I have at least 3 other devices that connect at that ghz. Correct authentication. Everything checked 5 times over. Plenty of DNS address leases open. Tried different units since I bought four. Nada. All bad.Bought an amazon plug, many times more expensive but it worked in less than 2 minutes. So I returned these.Maybe something to do with Comcast supplied router but I never have issues with any other device, laptops, video games, echos, and so on. I wasn't about to go buy another router to test that theory. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ These plugs are awesome! *by J***R on Reviewed in the United States on January 28, 2019* This is my first smart plug that I've owned and I absolutely love it! It's really responsive and it can work as a regular plug if left in on mode, like I use it for my light switch to plug for lights. Sometimes I use the smart capability and sometimes I use the switch but it's awesome to have the option of use. It does take a few seconds when using it in this manner, but using the app/Google home it is almost instant. It does take a little bit of time to set up properly with Google home and linking to the app, but once you're set up, there's no need to do it again. You can rename them and sort of map out your house where the plugs are. I love this product and highly recommend it as a great cheap smart plug with great build quality. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I no longer have get up to control my lights. *by E***Y on Reviewed in the United States on March 24, 2019* I was able to pair this Smart Plug with my cell phone without any issue. I scanned the QR code from the manual and just installed the Android App from Play Store. I also connected this Smart Plug with Google Home App. I paired this switch with another phone and tablet at home. They all work without any issue. Now, I can use either apps or voice command via Google Assist. Like most folks, I have either my phone or tablet nearby at home. Now I no longer have get up to turn on and off my lights.Some reviews complaint about the size of this Plug but it is really not that big. It is much smaller than my old remote switch.There are so many this kind of WIFI Outlets that I just took a chance and got this one. I did check the reviews and made sure it is highly rated.
