The material on these is thin but durable with good moisture-wicking properties. They are stretchy, but not tight like spandex compression shorts. This 12-pk was the best price I found and gives me more than I really need. Purchase arrived quickly from US East Coast retailer. Packaged in 4 packages of 3 briefs in generic "famous brand" shrink wrap. Received a variety of colors (black, grey, blue, red, white). Appears to be genuine product as the stitching and labeling match what I bought at local retail a few years back. I originally thought these might be factory seconds, but I couldn't find any flaws.
