Note there are three colors of the exact same product that get different reviews, but I would imagine if they would be very similar. So far, my favorite use is as a cleanup head shaver after a regular shave to get your whole head BBS. As one reviewer notes, the thing that makes it inexpensive is also the thing that makes it good: only one blade head. I have other, much more expensive electric razors with multiple heads, and they’re limited because they can’t be used at angles. This can , and it makes it both easier and more effective. It is really small though, so I don’t see it replacing a main razor. Maybe as a travel razor if you use it every day and don’t have a thick beard. I love that it uses batteries too. And again as another reviewer said, it’s made in Japan and is a great example of Japanese quality and design. For the negligible price, it’s a great add. UPDATE: I was considering dropping a star because the power switch was so hard to operate. But then I found there is a small button between the words on and off that is a lock. You have to press it down for it to turn on, I believe so that it won’t accidentally turn on. Of course, if I could have read Japanese, I would have seen it in the instructions which were only provided in Japanese. Nothing wrong with that because the description states this is a Japanese market shaver. Either way, it’s nice there’s a lock, and just know that there is one. Review: Tiny and useful, great razor from a reputable consumer products company - This is an amazing battery-electric travel razor! Panasonic products are a well-known entity…not some hard-to-pronounce company you’ve never heard of before. In fact, this little gem is actually still manufactured in Japan which to me means a lot from a quality standpoint. It’s tiny, lightweight even with 2 AA batteries in it, shaves well (albeit if you have a heavier beard you may need to allow some add’l shave time as two passes makes for a closer shave) Mine is now almost 3 years old, has travelled extensively, and been used heavily at home too, it still works like new. I have “gifted” a few of these to grateful recipients. If you travel, or are in business and wish a quick midday “touch-up” before a meeting or important presentation, put one in your glovebox or desk drawer. I don’t think you can go wrong. But it does not need one. It is tough built. It has a hard plastic shell to protect the flimsy screen. This is one of my favorite travel accoutrements! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It has its pluses and minuses *by T***P on December 16, 2022* This is a well made, handy little shaver that’s great for travel, or even home use. The only reason it gets 4 stars and not 5 is that it doesn’t shave me quite as close as the Panny 3831K I bought at the same time. I looked at all the reviews here and on the web for a small travel shaver. Ideally I wanted a wet/dry shaver that was well rated, and the 3831K ticked all the boxes there. But I really liked what I saw for this tiny RS10, even if it wasn’t washable. Sure enough it shaves very nicely with either a powder or a liquid pre-shave. It’s also highly maneuverable because of its small size. Even with its small size it has a nice, solid feel. But since I wanted something I could just run under a hotel faucet for cleaning, I also got the 3831K. I tested both over several days by first shaving with one, and then doing another pass with the other, to see if it picked up anything the first didn’t. When I used this shaver first followed by the 3831K, the latter consistently did a better job of leaving a smooth finish. When I started with the 3831K, the RS10 had really nothing left to do on its pass. So either way it seems it didn’t shave me quite as close as the other. That’s not to say this is an unworthy shaver. It has its advantages. It is more maneuverable than the 3831K, as I said before. It also glides during shaving a bit more smoothly. Not sure how this can be, since it looks like both use the same foil. I can only guess the slight added bulk of the 3831K makes it a tiny bit more cumbersome for me to use. Which leads to the last point in favor of the RS10 - it’s way smaller than the other one, making it a perfect kit traveling shaver, if you don’t mind dry brushing to clean it. I’m keeping both. The RS10 shave is “close enough” for me, but the 3831K will probably get used more while traveling since it’s washable.
