Over time the control valve fails and becomes clogged with metal shavings. This is a common issue on newer VW/Audi models. Up until recently the only fix was to replace the entire a/c compressor which can cost upwards of $800. USP Motorsports was able to source the a/c control valve giving you the ability to fix your a/c at a fraction of the cost. If your a/c system is not blowing cold, the control valve maybe the culprit. USP always recommends a trained professional diagnose or perform repairs on any a/c system. The a/c system must be evacuated and recharged to install the control valve. Please note this is an electrical item and non-returnable once ordered. The control valve is located on the front of the a/c compressor. Please note there are several variations of a/c compressors.
