A medium would fit "today", however, with a 4 month old puppy at 37 lbs I am sure he is growing like a weed!! It would be helpful if I knew what you are trying to cover, if anything. Please keep in mind you have the Walking Pants highlighted here that have an open tummy so your pup can access tummy and upper inner thigh and potentially nose into pants. If you need full coverage of back end you should look at the Original Pants in my shop. With the Frenchie slick coat and docked tail you will want to make or buy suspenders to keep them in place. What size would I use?** A: Hi, thanks for asking! I would suggest XL to make sure feet are totally covered. You have the Walking Pants highlighted here but I do suggest the Original Pants in my shop for dragging pups as they offer full coverage so knees won’t be exposed! Total waste of money! *by C***L on March 13, 2019* I measured my dog before ordering, and according to size chart should order L, which I did. I have a Border Collie mix, 42 pounds. These pants fit loosely around the chest area, everything else was flapping very loose. There’s no strap or snap to fasten the thing under the dog’s belly. The material is so thin, that on her first wear my dog chewed a hole in it, and she doesn’t even have all of her teeth left!The price for what you get simply is gougery.Subsequently I went to a large retailer, got a short sleeved $5 toddler (size 6) T shirt, put the dog’s hind legs thru the sleeve holes, fastened the excess with a rubber band. My design stayed on very securely. The dog wasn’t able to lick the affected area.I absolutely do not recommend mozzie pants! Huge disappointment! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Mozzie pants saved us! *by D***N on January 21, 2023* My 10 year old miniature labradoodle had a fatty mass removed from her groin/inner thigh. I ordered the walking pants in size Large (she is 40 pounds) because I wanted her to be able to go potty with them on, and I didn’t want to use the cone 24/7. I should have contacted Jules, the owner, to get her opinion about which pants would work best. The walking pants were too open on the bottom to cover the incision.. I wrestled around on the floor to try to fashion a tshirt of mine to wrap around her and keep her from licking and had to re-do every time she went outside. I am not good at this sort of thing, recently had a total knee replacement, and my knee was very painful while trying to accomplish this. I called Jules and she said she wished I would have consulted her earlier. and the original pants would work. She sent a pair overnight mail at no charge, along with detailed instructions. I highly recommend these pants and am so appreciative of Jules’ approachability and great service. The design and sewing are superb. Now, my knee and my dog’s incision can continue the healing process. I ordered the suspenders previously and use one, criss crossed on top and looped around my dog’s neck to secure the pants. I recommend ordering the suspenders to keep pants in place.Laurie Grounds ### ⭐⭐⭐ Not bad but ripped *by M***A on July 12, 2022* Our medium size pitbull has anxiety issues/ear issues and he is constantly licking himself and will lick himself raw. We've tried everything but not much helps. Since most of the licking is located around tail and butt we thought these would be perfec, they fit him well and cover his hindquarters.
