I bought this blanket after my son saw an infomercial about something similar. This is my penalty for too much screen time I guess... He immediately asked me for the "fish blanket", and normally I'd say no and move on. But recently, my son has been refusing naps at preschool. He walks in and tells the teacher at the beginning of the day that he won't nap and that she can call me to ask me and that I'll say it's ok. After receiving a talking-to by said teacher, I realized that I needed to find a way to get him to at least try to nap in the afternoons. I figured that having a cool blanket might do the trick. Amazon didn't let me down, and not only do they have the fish blanket like the one on TV, but they have this awesome shark blanket which I of course bought because sharks are clearly cooler than fish. It is really soft and it holds up well after washing. It fits his little 4-year-old body just fine, but a taller kid might have trouble. He took it to preschool and success! He now sometimes naps! Due to the fact that he's a tiny dictator, I'm fine with this partial win. So this blanket has made my son a more normal person on the few days of the week that it works and he actually gets some sleep. The price is extremely fair if not cheap for the quality and it shipped faster then was estimated. This looks amazing, is super soft , very large in a good way , washes and drys fantastic, and looks cute on the back of my couch.
