I immediately set it to charge. I have been using it to clean up fallen needles under the ‘fresh’ Christmas tree, the carpet in my car, and little messes my grandson makes in his car seat, floor, and rug in the living room. The vac has been working well, and has good suction. It is easy to clean. It has useful attachments. I haven’t yet used it enough to need to recharge it, so, I don’t know how long the charge will last, but I have used it at least one time each day since it was first charged.
