The new one worked really well. We had no problems with it at all. My Dad was very happy with it. He loves being able to listen to all of his CDs in the car, especially while he's traveling. I was really happy with the quick response and the fact that they gave me absolutely zero problems with replacing it. Great customer service! Thanks!This portable CD player was purchased as a gift for my Dad for Christmas. I bought it because it was advertised as a great CD player to use in the car. Since his car did not come with one, I thought this would make the perfect gift. Unfortunately, it did not work on arrival. It would spin and then produce two dash marks that turn into an "ERR" message every time. It never showed the track number, and it never played a single CD for us. We tried both old and new CDs. On the bright side, it arrived fairly quickly, and appeared to be packaged sufficiently. It came with a set of batteries, head phones and ear buds. The headphones were very small and I am a petite woman with an average to small head. The headphones broke in two. However I can use the ear buds. So it worked one day a few weeks ago and today it will not work. I tried new batteries , reread instruction and had two other people take try to make it work. It is defective. I am very disappointed! This is worst item I ever purchased from Amazon.
