To my taste, which may not be same as everyone else's, is a subtle but still exotic one. Pleasant enough to have almost all the time on without scent fatigue, but it doesn't get on your clothes or furniture. As far as the value, it is a bit expensive compared to other types of incense, but if you are like me you can pace this type to last you almost a month. You can break the pieces smaller than the 9 bricks that come in the package. You can also re use each brick, even if you broke it into a smaller piece. The scent is powerful enough for that, and if your lungs can survive smoke you can also use it on hit charcoal like you would a resin. I waited until the charcoal was gray but it's still smoking a lot.** A: First, light up a piece of charcoal till its ready. Second, put a small quantity of this bakhoor and it will be enough. It is not efficient to use large quantities at one time. If you put small quantity, it will burn for a while and stop (30 to 60 seconds) then, remove the brunt one and add a new batch on the same charcoal. 2 batches are enough in my openion to give pleasent scents according to the area. **Q: How long is the burn time?** A: The burn time for the Bakhour Incense depends on the unit of heat. It burns faster on coals (round coals used for burning incense), in a matter of 2-3 minutes; I do not recommend this method. If burning on an electric heat source, place on the lowest setting, and it may burn for 8-12 minutes. Again, the burning time varies. However, the aroma last for hours, if you do it right.....nice and slow:). **Q: How many are in a single pack?** A: Single pack is 1 (one) 40gm Bakhoor that can be further divided into 9 small pieces each of which is meant to be used one-at-a time. However you can use less or more depending on your preference. Each box has a slap of 9 piece sections. If I may, I like to add this based on my opinion. I have spent massive amounts of $ on buying Bakhoor of all kinds. This is the only one that I will ever buy for the rest of my life if they keep making it the way it is. It's a decent aroma, won't choke you to death, very pleasant light on the nose and lungs. Reasonably priced. Even my 80 years old mother took few with her after visiting me.
