Notepad was locked with no way to open it when it arrived. The “special number” that was supposed to be on the back to open it was in another language, possible Chinese or Japanese characters. While attempting to take the lock off, the entire thing fell apart. Frustratingly terrible product quality.

i actually had no difficulty opening the journal, the combination is in english on a little sticker on the back of the journal. the only issue is that the pen was out of ink.i’m happy with my purchase and i think it’s a cute notebook. definitely worth the purchase.
