I thought it was quite expensive but having had two cheap bins on which the foot pedal became detached after a while I decided to go upmarket. What a difference! The action is smooth, no overbalancing, no sign of any deterioration in action after 4 months use. The bin looks very smart with a solid, quality finish. And possibly best of all, the bags fit it exactly so you can't see a frill of liner sticking out - sounds a minor point but some of us find these things irritating!
