Got hooked on the three monitors I was using and didn't want to go back. Checked for the best card known compatible with my Dell and this was it. This card didn't require the additional power connection the original used. A plus. Make sure your machine has an adequate power supply. Works great with Pinnacle Studio 16. Economy cards video lagged badly to the audio. This card is awesome as it allows you to connect 6 video projectors to become one huge high def display. Manufacturer leaves it up to you as to what format to connect to your monitor. Connection is Mini Display port and I choose an adapter that took it to DVI. You can opt for an HDMI adapter.
