Every single one I have ever tried ALWAYS ends up non functional for some unknown reason, and this one is no different. Shame because I really liked that there were no batteries in the pen to worry about. First problem is the right angled cord, which is pointing at the exact wrong angle to be of real use, Actually makes the cord MORE likely to fail. You might avoid this by taping it to the pad so that it doesn't strain as much, but I think its unlikely to last either way. I know that these things can be made better quality than they are for not much more money, but there seems to be no middle ground between Wacom $$$ and trash that will break in a matter of weeks. Maybe I'd be better off buying an expensive one anyway because I keep rebuying the cheapos over and over again... How frustrating!
