The pipe itself was designed to be part of the Duravent system which has enlarged couplers. In order to make my pipe work with my existing setup, i was forced to crimp the pipe so it would fit into the appliance collar. This worked well. I've used other Wiss brand metal working tools with a lot of success. I was not disappointed. The tricks to doing it right are.. 1, Keep the metal to be crimped and crimp jaws perpendicular. 2, The 2 blade surface goes on the inside of the pipe. 3, even though there are hash marks, mark your depth on the crimper for quick reference. 4, While moving around the metal, keep the outer most blade in the last crimp for a uniform look and fit. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wiss WC5L- once you get you will wish you got it sooner. *by R***E on Reviewed in the United States on April 3, 2015* Another tool that paid for itself on the first job.
