These units use FC fiber connectors and my fiber has ST connectors, but I found adapters for about $9 each so it was fine. I have tested all 8 channels and they all works, but so far I have only used 4 channels at the same time and there was no problem at all. I would definitely buy this again if the need arose and I planning to try some of their other fiber products in the near future.
