Since almost everywhere requires a leash (and you never know who/who’s dog is around) this leash is the perfect safety for my fur baby. I feel safe knowing she’s on a lead, others see the leash and feel safe, and she still has the ability to play and run without being tethered by 6ft. 26ft might’ve been overkill (I have a chihuahua lol) but she definitely enjoys every inch of it! The lead rope itself is much sturdier than other retractables I’ve purchased and doesn’t feel cheap by any means, it’s rated up to 110lbs so even my neighbors German Shepard could borrow the leash to go on trails!I do love how easy the locking feature is. Instead of having to fumble with the thumb toggle and pull back you simply push down and it’s locked! Much easier than other retractable leashes I’ve used.
