As this product is fully microwavable, to heat simply place the product in a microwave oven according to the directions on the product to release the wonderfully relaxing lavender aroma.  Intelex prides itself on the fully microwavable aspect of their products. As they manufacture products that are fully microwavable and do NOT require a removable inner wheat bag, it makes using Intelex products not only easier, but also safer too and reduces the risk of scalding These versatile products can also be used as a cold pack; simply place in a sealed freezer bag and place in the freezer for two to three hours. Surface clean with a damp sponge Simple to use - just warm in a microwave Take care when removing from the microwave oven. Do not ingest contents. Do not overheat. Reheat from room temperature only. Cute. Not Warmies brand though. I received an off brand that's smaller than stated but came with a cute matching fuzzy eye mask. The set is cute, smells like lavender, will make an adorable gift  and all that jazz, but it isn't Warmies.
