My high beams were halogen and not very effective. They emitted that dull yellow light which didn't help much at all on the dark back roads I use to drive home. I ordered a pair of these LEDs and arrived in no time. They were very easy and quick to install and had them both working in under 5 minutes. I took a drive and tried them out. They are so much brighter to my halogens. These LEDs are almost like spotlights which have a wider and higher spread. The road immediately in front is lit up farther ahead but the lights also illuminate wider and higher giving you a better and clearer vision. These LED high beams used in combination with my LED factory low beams create a day time brightness. The downfall is they are a tad brighter then your normal headlights and even though adjustable if you cast further than your normal beam its washed out. All in all if you need a new bulb which can run pretty about the same as converting to these which will do you about the equivalent of your originals.
