Review: Quality product - This heavy grade non slip checkerboard aluminium precision formed threshold bridging ramp arrived well packaged and seemed ideal for its intended use. Unfortunately I had to return it . There was absolutely nothing wrong with the product so please read on: I wanted this ramp to be able to drive my small indoors mobility scooter over a 40mm threshold forming part of PVC French doors from the house into the conservatory. The scooter has a very shallow clearance but could just about clear the frame so I thought the 40mm ramp would be fine. Unfortunately due to the geometry of the ramp and the relatively long wheelbase compared to the shallow space of the scooter, I was faced with a similar dilemma to the unfortunate (really?) Ferrari driver approaching an over enthusiastic Councils idea of a speed bump and was left stranded on top.
