She is 77 lbs with a strong chest, but her neck and lower torso are more similar to a lab. This fits great! She probably could have for a large as well since the Velcro patches are wide enough to adjust to different widths. She does not seem bothered when we put it on her and looks very cute on our cold weather walks. I have only used it 4 times (when it’s raining/snowing or temps are below 28 degrees). It does get dirty on the under carriage, but wipes off easily with a towel. Mainly for when your dog is going to be in the snow or anytime really cold as the jacket is thick and warm. It is not too thick though, our dog was still able to sprint in the snow perfectly fine. Lol. The jacket does not get in the way of him peeing which is great (others do). I love that it is reversible to have two cute looks. Also very smart that they have a reflective strip on both sides. My only semi complaint would be that it is a little confusing to put the jacket on because of the way the bottom of the jacket has to be made in order for it to be reversible, but to me it’s worth it. You get it pretty good after a couple of times. Our dog is roughly 32 pounds and a medium fits perfect. The jacket is made to where even if he was smaller or bigger than that it would still adjust to fit him. They thought of everything!
