The tops were very hard to open. My kids, nor I, could open them. I had to use a towel and push down on the handle in order to flatten or shave the piece that kept the lid shut and now my kids can open it easily. The straw is also hard to lift up at first but got looser and easier with use. I don’t know how long they’ll last but you get what you pay for. I like them much better now that we can open them without injury. I added a picture of the lid with the piece I had to flatten in order to open.Edit: about three months in and two of lids have broken. They’re still useable but they no longer have the cover piece.
