Solimo is the house brand for Amazon, They are then manufactured by Personna. Personna is owned by Edgewell who own Shick, Personna is their private label group. They have plants based all over the world so it is hard to nail down where one is manufactured. They do however have 3 plants in the USA. **Q: How do these compare to schick 5** A: I have used the Schick 5 as well, but i like these better. I am 10 shaves in and still on the first blade, no tugging or pulling. The edger for side burns has come in very handy as well. I dont believe that these are the sharpest, highest quality razors you’ll find out there, but they for sure get the job done for a quick neck shave every 2-3 days. If you’re like me, and only need razors for the occasional clean up, these will work great for you. Awesome price considering the cost of some top brands out there, and the construction of the handle really feels like you’re using something high quality. My only gripe is that they tend to feel like they’re pulling some hairs out inside of actually shaving but it could be user error.
