And can hold smell and tastes from strong drinks like filtered coffee etc..I would suggest cleaning it straightaway with detergents to take this away..Just a slight warning when hot water is poured in make sure the lid is on and the mouth opening is closed as the silicon is a little wobbly when hot and fully extended.. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A little heavier but recommended *by C***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 January 2019* I used my onw Starbucks coffee cup to show the differences. This cup is a little bigger and heavier than the white plastic Starbucks's coffee cup. And to be honest, heavier than I imagine. But it is a really convenient travel cup that you can not only use it for water. Collapsing feature is so-so; it does collapse but you might need to fiddle with it a bit to get it right.I can’t attest to how leak proof it is/n’t because I’ve only just got it but also because that’s not what I bought it for.
