You can also buy answer books for all the volumes. In the later volumes this will be helpful. It is interesting how towards the end of all volumes except the Preparatory volume there is a heading called the "Four Periods of Music History". For the 1st volume all four periods fit on one page. In each additional volume the four periods are expanded so that by the 10th volume the information has grown to 6 pages.
