I am impressed. First the fit is absolutely spot on. I wear a 10 1/2. An 11 is too bag and a 10 is just too small. A lot of sellers don't do half sizes and that eliminates them quickly from my shopping list.I don't know exactly what material encases the carbon fiber surround on this piece. It looks like it would have a texture to it but is very smooth, clear and hard. The metal on the ring has a high polish and a gentle bevel on the edges so it slides on and off quite smoothly. The biggest difference I can tell right off the bat is the weight. These are so incredibly light. You tend to forget you're wearing one unless you look at it. I've gotten quite a few compliments already.
