I love this littlish book. It's a size of book you rarely see anymore - about the size of the palm of your hand if you stretched your fingers wide. As for the content, it is expertly organized and created. You get pharmacology of herb, ways to cook and combine, medical applications, and contraindications.I am a writer for an herbal school and I have used this book over and over as a source. The information is easy to extract and very practical. I recommend this book highly.

This book is very well written and information it provides is invaluable! I was especially impressed  with the fact that it has CONTRAINDICATIONS for foods if you have certain health conditions! It helped me tremendously to get better sooner. I have not seen this info in any of the books I have read before.  Ten stars ans more!

    Very Useful Book for Bettering Health and Understanding of TCM

One of my more recent favorites. I like reading and studying TCM to begin with. And this book will be added to my growing library. The Chinese seem to understand how to use not only herbs to heal, but also foods. I think it's past time we American's revisit ancient techniques of health and start detoxifying from the harmful side-effects of prescription medications and even chemically treated foods. The human body is not a toxic waste dump. If you want to know more about natural healing, try this book!
