It died completely the first week of May 2019. It was easy to install, but I’d done a few before. I found the directions less helpful than other kits, but the additional tools in this kit were better than others. The battery life on a per charge basis was ok. The capacity is less than desired for a heavy user, I had to recharge twice during the day. The luke warm feelings I had for the battery went ice cold when it died for good only 3 months after purchase. It can hold a slight charge, but can’t put out enough power to boot the phone. Super disappointed. ### ⭐ do NOT do your own iphone 7 repair - you will break the Home button!!! *by P***R on Reviewed in the United States on January 23, 2019* This is Apple's planned obsolescence at its worst: if you so much as disable the iPhone 7 battery, it locks out the Home button and cannot be remedied without an expensive repair.
