It comes out of the water only semi-dry, the water beads up but stays in the sand so it's actually still wet. So in order to put it away completely dry for storage, you have to lay it out in a thin layer (like on a baking sheet). This makes using the product not quite as fun as it should be because clean-up is not only messy (the sand gets everywhere), it takes long because you have to wait for the sand to dry. She played with it once and it's been sitting on the shelf in her bedroom ever since. So, unless you have a place in your home setup for sand play, be sure to set aside plenty of time for clean-up. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ very intresting product for kids to play *by M***2 on October 8, 2018* I have a 8 year old and a 4 year old (girls). They have always been intrestied with new playing toys but get easly bored, tried the slime, magic sand everything lasts only for few hours after which they get bored. I bought this product and its really cool how it goes into water and doesnt get wet, they are able to make shapes and things in the water and then after they are done, they are able to put it back int he plastic cover.ITs really entertaining and also not boring.
