It’s definitely oil and fuel resistant. Doubt it’s waterproof. Once you wrap it on insulation. It’s hard to unwrap. Usually cut it off. If your wires are already insulated it shouldn’t make make a difference. This is the the same type of stuff used on car wiring harnesses for years before plastic. I’ve used on several bikes wiring harnesses , under tanks and side covers. Easy to use. Sorry a little long winded **Q: What is the total length of the tape?** A: It advertised 15m which is about 49ft. **Q: Heat proof to what degree?** A: I do not know exact temp. I used it on engine wiring harness on motorcycles. It has held up very good. Has been exposed to oil and heat with no problem.
