Well, they must have listened to the feedback, because our sauce arrived very well-packed and in pristine condition. We just tried it tonight, and we loved it! It's not just sweetened pureed tomatoes. It tastes like a fresh, homemade puttanesca sauce. The capers and olives blend well and add a lovely tang to the sauce without overpowering it's freshness. We made several dishes, so we could try it, as is, on different things. We tried it on cheese ravioli, polenta, grilled chicken breasts, spaghetti squash, and roasted portobello mushrooms. It was delicious on all the items. Thanks, Amazon! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Simply all tomato-deliciousness *by S***S on February 26, 2010* The sauce is not just a sauce, the tomato pieces in there are simply delicous; good size pieces, nicely cooked down (no skin) and the taste was just 'simple and all tomato goodness'. It was over flavored, and if you want a dash of salt or pepper then you can adjust it. But we loved it just as it was with some great gluten pasta and vegetables. It is as good as you can get from a great italian restaurant. So much better than any expensive brands in jars that we have tried in the supermarket. Price comparison-wise, it is very reasonable. Better still, there is no gluten in this ready made product; so for me, finally, one less thing to have to make myself. we love it and cant wait to try this out on other recipes.
