Typical (excellent) Wolfman construction and design, not too big for the KLR (at least for me), stays put, and holds whatever I seem to need. I also like that it's expandable (that zipper runs 3/4 of the way around the tankbag, so the expansion pivots at the front, which stays the same height). I haven't used the side pockets much yet, and might take them off until I need them, but that is a nice option. I haven't tried the KLR specific mounting straps, finding that with a little ingenuity I could use the standard mounting system OK. The only modification I've made is to add a layer of clear paint protector plastic on the tank; with all the dust in the summer I didn't want to take a chance on it acting like a rubbing compound. The size seems to be perfect for most items I would need to get to including camera equipment, maps, snacks and just about anything else you want to reach without getting off the bike. So far, the quality seems to be very good. One thing I do not understand is why a rain cover does not come standard equipment and part of the bag, instead of an accessory which you have to buy separately? Clearly the bag is not waterproof as is, so the rain cover is a must. I did pick one up for an additional $20, but should have been included with the bag as standard equipment. I do wish the bag had a designed pass-through so I could run a power cord into the bag and charge phones and other accessories. Since the bag is not waterproof, I do not see what harm a designed slot would be for this purpose near the front of the bag along the lower seam. That being said I just returned from the BMW MOA Rally and installed our Explorer Lite S218 on a 1984 R80 RT, which has a similar tank shape, it fit well with plenty of fore-aft adjustment. Also all the necessary mounting straps are included.
