Now, with these new batteries, they are back!!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ WHY THE MUNIKIND BATTERIES DID NOT WORK.... *by R***. on December 21, 2023* I CHECKED EVERYTHING TWICE AND ALL WAS IN ORDER. CORRECT REPLACEMENT BATTERY. THEY CHARGED FULLY WITHOUT ANY ISSUES. HOWEVER WHEN INSTALLED IN THE DRILL NOTHING ENGAGED THE DRILL TO WORK. I CHECKED THE DRILL BY INSTALLING AN EXTRA BATTERY THAT I HAD AND THE DRILL WORKED PERFECTLY. FOR YOUR INFORMATION THE ONLY ISSUE THAT I COULD IMAGINE WAS THAT FOR SOME REASON THE CONTACTS WERE NOT MAKING CONTACT WITH THE DRILL CONTACTS ONCE THE BATTERIES WERE INSTALLED. ONCE AGAIN I DON'T THINK THE BATTERIES WERE DEFECTIVE. THEY MERELY DIDN'T WORK WHEN INSTALLED IN MY MAKITA DRILL. IF YOU CAN FIGURE OUT WHAT WAS WRONG I WOULD CERTAINLY ORDER THE PAIR IN AGAIN. CORDIALLY, RICHARD ADDITIONAL COMMENT: THE PROBLEM I DISCOVERED IS WHEN THE BATTERY IS FULLY PLACED IN THE DRILL THE CONTACTS DO NOT ENGAGE. IF ONE PULLS THE BATTERY BACK OUT 1/16 OR 1/32 OF A INCH THE BATTERY ENGAGES. HOWEVER YOU CAN'T CLOSE THE CLIP AT THE BOTTOM OF THE HANDLE. I AM GOING TO KEEP THE BATTERIES AND I BELIEVE IF I JUST DON'T CLOSE THE BATTERY CLIP AT THE BOTTOM OF THE HANDLE THE BATTERY WILL STAY IN THE DRILL. IF NOT THEN A SMALL PIECE OF TAPE ACROSS THE BOTTOM SHOULD KEEP IT IN AND NOT GET IN THE WAY OF THE OPERATION OF THE DRILL.
