When it was first rolled down it did have some waves/wrinkles in the screen so I let it stay down for a few weeks and they all went away. Pros: Slow smooth raising and lowering of the electric screen. It's just super smooth Everything just pops on this screen. My friend has one without and his screen is always wavy and it just doesn't hang right to me. When they made this they had to know how high the screen needs to be mounted and you only get about a foot of power cord on the top left of the screen. I don't leave the screen down all the time as its not in a dedicated home theater room but I haven't had any problems with edge curling or hot spots. The tab-tension is a nice feature as it helps keep the screen from wrinkling. The screen has a good weight to it and if somebody walks past it while its down it doesn't seem to cause it to sway any. Its also nice being able to use a Logitech remote to control the screen but if you don't have one you can use the included IR remote. The electric motor is quiet and smooth and even though its a little slow it isn't a problem for me because by the time the projector warms up the screen is down and ready. Great screen. *by B***N on December 5, 2016* I'm really happy with this 100" tab-tension screen. I had to dial up the tension a bit when I first got it, but that was easy and it's holding the tension great. I've had it for several weeks and have had it up and down a couple dozen times - it's quiet and works great. It arrived via FedEx and the box was in great condition. The screen had some very, very minor "memory lines" that are barely noticeable in the daylight with no image on the screen, and not at all noticeable during movie viewing. The paperwork that came with it says this is normal and will go away, but even if it doesn't, I don't really care. Also, if you look at my photos, you'll see I have an unusual ceiling, and therefore had to use some screws and chains to hang it from the wood beams. With careful measuring, this turned out great. I've also added it to my Harmony remote (which was easy) so I'm really happy with this and totally recommend it to anyone looking for a screen.
