Visual Timer Multi Function with Vibrating Audible and Flashing Alarm - Countdown Timer Ideal for The Visually and Hearing Impaired

Versatile but not the easiest to learn or use. Tried working it intuitively at first and eventually surrendered and read the included manual. To get to timer mode you have to hold the MIN button for 4 seconds. At 2 seconds, the numbers flash and you may instinctively want to let go but that's only the clock reset mode. When the power is turned off to save battery life the clock resets. In which case I'd rather just not have the clock function at all so it's automatically in timer mode when turned on. The magnet in back is small and weak. Clip/stand option is decent. The 4 modes: clock/ stopwatch/ countdown timer in min and sec/ countdown timer in hrs and min. There are 4 switches in back to turn on off alarm light, sound, vibration, and power. All in all great portable timer with different types of alarms to choose from. The only disappointment was needing to bypass the clock function every time after powering on. Requires one AAA battery.

This works great and really gets the attention of my deaf spouse. It was a bit difficult to get set up at first but once looking at instructions online (because none came with it) we were able to figure out how to switch between modes and it’s been great since.

Since the background noise in the plant that I work often prevents me from hearing the timer I have been using, I have decided to try something different. The vibrating is a definite plus. I am pleased with my purchase. It resets to zero, so one improvement might be to reset to the same time as I had set it. (a month later) I just purchased this timer for the second time. As it happens, you can only drop these timers a few times too often before they stop working properly. The fact is, I have found a timer that I am going to stick with. This model works better than any other that I have tried.

It's multi function meaning it has a clock and timer that can count up and down. Here's the issue. Turn it off and you have to set the time before getting to the timer setting. Press and hold min- set the hour, set the min, press and hold to change to the timer. Turn it off- rinse lather and repeat. Not efficient for classroom use. Oh... And the time is only in military!

It counts down and flashes and you can shut off the vibration and sound, which is what I wanted. The buttons feel cheap and mushy and you have to press a button to add every minute/second. It does not remember the last time set, nor allow for quickly adding time, so to get a series of 30 second timers requires 30 presses of the buttons each time. Inexpensively made and while it can get the job done I’d rather spend a little more and get a better designed product. It’s “fine” so if your needs are for an infrequently used inexpensive gadget it should work for you. But it will not impress you in any way and is only a little less expensive than other options.

The timer came as expected and I was excited to have a silent vibrate option for my classroom. The timer is quite noisy when it buzzes. It also requires you to reset the time each time. Not fun or easy for the needs of my classroom. Disappointed.

Great option to have sound, vibration and/or color instead of just the sound. Helpful in small/large groups and for various needs of children.

Instructions were missing, look through the reviews to switch from time to timer. All you need to do is press the MIN button for 4 seconds, wait until the the screen switches to four 0's because it will first start to blink to change the time. Keep pressing until it changes to a timer.

The clock function works but the timer function does not. I thought I was doing something wrong when i was tryibg to aet it and looked up a manual online but nope...not me. Disappointing.

I chose this timer as it has different ways to alert you after the time has passed. It is used to determine when the end of a session of cards is nearly over within a large room with 24 plus people. I found the most effective way was to use silent mode then use my voice. It has speeded up play much to everyone's delight.

Je suis contente de mon achat mais une chose que je trouve un peu dommage: c'est la pince qui n'est pas assez solide lorsque je me penche, le minuteur tombe à terre et je pense que ce serait bien c'est d'ajouter un anneau au-dessus du minuteur ou une housse afin que je puisse le pendre autour du cou.

O temporizador que recebi não mostrava parte de cima dos últimos números. Devolvi pois estava defeituoso.Não acho que as funcionalidades facilitam o uso. Não é fácil de passar de uma função para outra.Gostei das opções do alarme de vibração e luminoso mas o como queria usar o temporizador para meditação o alarme sonoro é um pouco agressivo.
