She already loves math, but this makes it even more fun for her. The book is filled with creative hands-on activities that combine math exercises with fashion ideas; both things my 8 year old enjoys! The activities would also be fun for kids who struggle with math because it gives it a purpose. The other day my daughter woke up and the first thing she wanted to do was play "store" with the paper money that comes with the book. We spend the whole morning taking turns with putting together outfits from my closet and playing the role of customer and cashier. The cashier had to come up with the pricing, add it up, and make change (my daughter made the rules) and all of this was inspired by the book. I can't complain about an interactive activity that involves learning and no actual money! :) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome book! She dove right in and didn't want to put it down. It is a perfect gift for a 7-8 year old. It was the perfect level of challenge for my daughter, she loves math but is not quite a whiz yet. The book has different math puzzles to figure out in fun ways. If you are wrong in one of the math problems then the puzzle doesn't come out right so you have to go back and find your mistake. I really appreciated that aspect rather than me looking for her mistakes. My daughter loves the jokes the book has for her to decode.
