There are some similarities that should be noted:1) It stinks to high Heaven and right on through low Heaven. That should be expected with a two part epoxy and it's no worse than the competition but it's still very acrid and you should take care not to try stuffing it up your nose.2) This will also sting your hands, politely the tube suggests you may want to use gloves and I agree it is a wise idea. Be aware that if you do use gloves it will make it harder to stick the epoxy directly to your live rock. It's best to have someone else mix it for you. This will also cut down on the smell because you can have them stand in the kitchen, or somewhere else relatively far away.3) This epoxy will also match your coralline algae perfectly when it dries which is a huge plus.4) It sticks and sticks things together, but it doesn't do a super great job of it.Those similarities aside this is a slightly better product than  Two Little Fishies AquaStik Underwater Epoxy Putty . While you still won't have a permanent solution if you have animals in your aquarium that are prone to knocking into your live rock or like to brush against your coral, Boston Aqua Farms Reef Epoxy is pretty strong. It does a great job of keeping your live rock pressed together, it will help keep a plug in place if you're pushing it into the live rock, and with a little creative maneuvering you can get it to hold to places it really shouldn't.It's still very easy to break off, after a few months you will notice pieces falling if they haven't grown onto the rock themselves. For rocks that just need to be adhered to one another to stay in place it will do the job, but a good knock with your hand will dislodge them and cause an aquascaped structure to fall.I will still stick with  Two Little Fishies CorAffix 2oz Cyanoacrylate Adhesive  for my go to solution for affixing things permanently, but I don't mind having this in my aquarium toolkit to give frags a semi-permanent home or stick a few pieces of rock together to give a structure some added stability. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ boston reef expoy *by T***N on Reviewed in the United States on February 4, 2012* I currently have a 400 gallon, 700 gallon total, sps tank. I use epoxy on all large acros, including aquacultures. With all epoxy you really need a hole in a rock for the epoxy to harden, if you glue directly to a flat surface it will eventually fall off, often from a snail's motion. It does tend to rtn a small fresh cut frag.This is my favorite epoxy, it is slightly more sticky than others and dries hard.It is coraline algae colored so it blends well.It does NOT make your skimmer go crazy like two little fishies epoxy.
