I used a dot of crazy glue and it's as sturdy as ever. My only small complaint is that they should sell these packages in smaller quantities. I don't like to keep unnecessary items around living in a small space and I'll never need even ten of these and now I have 100. I would pay the same amount for a package of 5 or 10. They will just fall right off the post. Most of the metal backs seem like they will work well enough, but they really should grip better.
