Easy to use and quality construction. But TSA cut them off on the very first leg of my trip. The TSA symbol is clearly displayed on the lock so why would they do this? No explanation was given. No note left. Are they just too lazy to pull out their key and it’s more fun to cut a lock? Why don’t they communicate with us and tell us what’s up.If there’s any class action attorneys reading this I think you’d have a great class action suit against TSA. Help us recoup the money spent on these locks. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Quality Control Might Be An Issue *by R***P on Reviewed in the United States on April 1, 2018* I have taken three trips in the last four weeks with these locks. Two have been cut off by TSA (once in MSP flying to DCA, the second from BWI flying back to MSP). I am a federal employee, I actually went into my agency headquarters into Security and had them test the two remaining ones with the TSA equipment. Their key does work, but does not trigger the red light at all, but it took a while for the tool key to work (which is probably why the lock had to be sawed off on two different junctures. I probably got a bad batch, but still, this is pretty annoying. Turns out I cannot return the two locks to Amazon (which I completely understand), so this product gets my qualified worst rating.Edit 7-Oct-2018 (From one to three stars)So, a couple of weeks ago, the customer service staff of Forge found me. They apologized for not finding me sooner, but wanted to follow up with questions with respect to locks. It turns out that I did get a bad batch, and Forge did end up making good on the lock. I will be following up with Travel Sentry and the local TSA office at MSP, because I had to fill out an OF-132 because of the destroyed government property from the locks which lead me to write the review in the first place. I am really happy that the locks were refunded by the company, though I was still out a lot of time and money due to those locks which a partial compensation was happily offered and accepted. I still intend to find out what happened since the key batch is now known as that will get a refiled OF-132 with some jerk's name on it, somehow. ### ⭐ Not worth it! *by E***. on Reviewed in the United States on May 2, 2019* Upon opening the package and setting the combinations, when I got to the third lock, the tumblers were difficult to move. A little piece of metal fell out of the key hole. It is unusable. Sent message to seller and did not hear anything back.When on a trip and upon arrival to destination, went to remove a lock from luggage and the lock was damaged and difficult to turn the numbers.Would not recommend at all.
