You never know when family is going to drop in or a friend needs a place to crash. I’ve used more than a couple mattresses in the past and this one is just as great with a few nice enhancements.The first thing I liked was the raised “head bubble”. Basically they added more material on one side of the mattress to act as a makeshift pillow. Love this addition, and made for a welcoming feature. The second thing was the cord compartment. Normally it’s something you really have to wrestle with. Wrapping the cord up and shoving it back in is always a hassle, but the noticeably larger compartment and the hinged door made this so much easier than previous models. Next, I really liked the backup manual blowup nozzle. In case the motor breaks you always have this option as a backup. Finally, the fact that there’s 3 distinct settings for the motor—inflate, deflate, and off/hold—makes things easier. My last mattress had a dial that went from one extreme to the next, so you never could tell if you had a tight seal on the air inside. Having notches took the guess work out of it. The only thing I didn’t like, is something ALL blowup mattresses have in common—the fight of putting it back in the bag/box. Having to put it away, knowing how much and where to fold is always a losing game. Unfortunately this is something every single company deals with, so it’s not something I can fault these guys with.Overall I love the extra attention and care put into this product. Usually they aren't too comfortable and are a pain to blow up and fold up. This is a quality air mattress, with a few neat features that make it more comfortable. I found the head bubble to be a neat add on, as well as the compartment included to stow away the cord. The bed inflates fairly quickly and doesn't take too much effort once everything's in place. Overall, my friends and family get a good night's rest on this mattress, and I find it quite comfortable. It fills and deflates quickly and has the built in pump which is a necessity in my mind. I also really like the pillow portion built in.
