Over the years I have bought numerous kinds of drum sticks to do my practice sessions with, and I recently purchased this type (Grip Stix, “16” long, non-slip, blue Timbale drumsticks-$12.97) because they were bargain priced on Amazon. In the past, and even now, I think this model drum stick designed for drum aerobic classes was WAY OVERPRICED ($28.00 plus S/H cost); however, if you search Amazon you will find these drum sticks much cheaper and free shipping In any case, I was very pleased with the fast service receiving these drum sticks in only one day.They are well balanced and feel great in the hands for regular drumming practice; however, my only complaint is that their diameter is a little thin because I practice Taiko drumming in which the sticks used are somewhat thicker. I do like the length and weight of the drum sticks when doing some standard type exercises with them for fitness. These drum sticks are ideal for various kinds of drumming workouts.Rating: 4 Stars. No problem with these! Two of them together may have equaled the weight of one stick. The tips were very thin and seemed like they would snap off easily.
